Verena Schmidt became editor in chief of the News Bulletin
The board of the PRWG congratulates Verena Schmidt from AEGEE-Tuebingen for taking the challenge and becoming editor in chief for the new edition of the News Bulletin!
Verena is member of the PRWG and also active in various other activities in AEGEE, as for example, the Environmental Working Group or the Europe needs You-project.
After a msn meeting, the team decided yesterday about the thematic focus of the next edition. It will deal with the different ways of knowledge transfer in AEGEE among the AEGEE-members.
We wish the team good luck while working on the next editon and are looking forward to hold the new magazine in our hands :-)
The News Bulletin is AEGEE's internal publication, the AEGEE membership magazine, produced by AEGEE-members for AEGEE-members. It reports about the latest happenings and publishes information amainly about past developments, but also blinks partly into the future of AEGEE.

Public Relations Working Group at Spring Agora Ljubljana 2008
Dear PRWG members,
Last week, a beautiful Spring Agora 2008 took place in "the most beautiful town in the world" - Ljubljana.
Public Relations Working Group was very present and active, and if we take into consideration all the congratulations messages we received, we can say that it was the most visible moment of PRWG. (At least during my 2 years as board member of PRWG).
What made us so visible?
1. The M(eye) blog - http://m-eye-agora.blogspot.com/
A motivated team kept on writing articles and posting news: Maria Morozova, Marino Bresciani, Anca-Maria Oita, Vaggelis Monoguios, Verena Kitz, Nadine Karbach, Percin Imrek, Jorge Reis together with me.
When coming back from Ljubljana, I found several congratulations emails on my personal address and also on PRWG's account. It is always a nice feeling to receive feedback from the network.
And I am so very glad that the blog was well received and enjoyed !!
2. Our activity report
Was the largest one of all the WG's. Nadine had quite a problem to fit everything in 3min, but she managed to do it very well. Some of the WGs did not have a power point presentation and some of them did not even show up on stage to present something.
3. The small surprise from Laure
On Friday around noon, the Chair announced "Laure Onidi wants to make a small announcement". Then Laure went on stage and started talking about all the work she had had since the resignation of the PR Director after Agora Eskisehir and how she would have never made it without PRWG Board. The beautiful words shiverred us all, but this was not all, she went on and called us on stage to give us a small present - a red scarf. (The coulour was chose according to PRWG Identity ;) )
The moment ended with lots of hugs, kisses, tears, applause and of course, pictures!
4. The "imPRoving publications" Workshop
On Thursday afternoon, Nadine Karbach lead the "imPRoving Publications – It’s all about publications!" workshop together with Arleta Bojke.
The participants had the chance to find out more about AEGEE's publications, about what it means to make a publication (from the very first open call until distribution) and in the end they had a funny test in order to find out who can they be in a editorial team (editor-in-chief, layouter, interviewer, etc.).
5. The Working Groups Booklet
After a few adventures with the WG Booklet we were able to have them in Ljubljana and spread them among the participants.
A beautiful nice booklet made its way on the registration desk of AEGEE Europe, in the plenary, in the gym, everywhere.
6. The first PR LTC in Mainz Wiesbaden - Communicate!
I think it was the most promoted event during Agora. From boxes of matches to posters sticked in the toilets everybody found out about the first Public Relations Local Training Course which is organised in cooperation with PRWG and will take place in Main Wiesbaden, between 15th -18th of May.
And for those of you who have not been present in Ljubljana here you can find a short overview: http://picasaweb.google.com/prwg.board/SpringAGORALjubljana2008
In the end, I would just like to thank all of you who contributed to the best semester of Public Relations Working Group and who have made of it a very active group.
Work must go on!!
