Dear Network,
The “Key to Europe” is AEGEE’s most important publication and published
on annual basis. Its purpose is, to show AEGEE’s achievements, projects
and results to people outside of AEGEE, like members of the European
Parliament, other European NGO’s but also to the rector of your
university and can be perfectly used for your fundraising activities!
It is usually produced by a motivated team of AEGEE members, printed
somewhere over Europe and distributed either by general mailing or at
the Agora.
Your Comité Directeur and the Public Relations WG are looking for:
+++ Editor-in-chief “Key to Europe 2008/2009” +++
Do you have some project management or editorial experience, within or
outside of AEGEE? Do you want to develop your skills in making
publications and managing a magazine?
The tasks that the editor-in-chief should do are as follows:
- preparing a VISION and CONCEPT for the next edition of the Key 2 Europe
- selection and successful management of the editorial team
- some knowledge about lay-outing, skills in editing and journalism are
highly appreciated
- experience in the field of publications
- good communication skills
- a good knowledge about AEGEE and its history as well as about the
latest happenings
- some experience in work on European level of AEGEE (distance
working/international team work)
- good level of English
- availability directly after the selection till the Spring Agora Magusa
- be the contact person towards the CD and the PRWG
In case you are interested in being the next chief please submit a
motivation letter in which you give an impression of yourself (task
related experience inside and outside AEGEE) and why you want to work on
the next “Key to Europe”.
